Using the digital zoom

With the zoom you scale the image digitally. The function always zooms in on the image center.

Setting the image parameters

1.Via the "Photometry" dropdown list you can select specific image areas for the automatic image control. These image areas are used to determine the correct exposure and gain settings:

oCenter weighted (AS_PM_SENS_CENTER_WEIGHTED)
Metering is based on the entire field of view, but gives greater emphasis to the center area of the image.

oSpot (AS_PM_SENS_CENTER_SPOT)
Only a small area in the image center is used for metering.

oAverage (AS_PM_SENS_CENTER_AVERAGE)
Metering is based on the entire field of view, but all areas are equally weighted and an average value is determined.

2.Via the "Anti flicker mode" dropdown list you can adjust the automatic image control so that flicker from the lighting is reduced in the image. You can preset different frequencies.

3.Enable the "Auto backlight compensation" option to adjust the automatic brightness control in the camera in that way that the influence of a bright backlight on the control function is reduced. This way, you can capture a clearer image of dark objects against bright background.

4.Enable the "Image stabilization" option to activate the camera's electronic image stabilization feature.

5.Enable the "Wide dynamic range" option to capture images with a higher dynamic range.

Mirroring the image

1.Enable the "Horizontal" option to flip the image on the horizontal axis.

2.Enable the "Vertical" option to flip the image on the vertical axis.

Resetting the parameters

Click on the "Default" button to reset all parameters to the model-specific defaults.
