Setting the focus zone

uEye Camera Manual Version 4.92

Setting the focus zone

For the USB 3 uEye XC you can define via a focus zone on which image area the camera should be focused. The settings of the focus measure window can only be used in snapshot mode. In live mode the camera always focuses on the image center.

•Open the "Focus" dialog via "View > Focus zone" or click on Icon_FocusZones in the toolbar.

hint_info

According to the sensor manufacturer, there is no guarantee that a focal point set manually will lead to a reproducible focal distance. A focal value determined with one model will not necessarily result in the same focal point for a different model.

Resetting the parameters

Click on the "Default" button to reset all parameters to the model-specific defaults.
